RELIABILITY ENGINEER (QUALITY CONTROL)
Reporting to:
Quality Manager
Scope:
To work with the team in their task of continuous improvement of the products we make.
Main Duties:
- Reliability Engineering in the Military sector (MIL-STDs, MIL-HDBKs, etc)
- Failure/Defect Recording and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS/DRACAS)
- Ability to analyse circuits, parts lists etc, to ascertain parts count and stress levels of assemblies
- Reliability Prediction by parts count and stress (MIL-HDBK-217)
- Ability to generate Fault Trees from design data
- Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)
- Shock and Vibration Testing
- Statistical Analysis specifically associated with Reliability Engineering
- Product/Assembly Failure Rate Budgeting/Estimating
- Root Cause Failure Analysis
Qualifications & Experience:
HNC/HND Preferably a degree in Engineering and/or Physics (Minimum)
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills are mandatory
Experience in military electronics, aviation or related technologies
Experience in Reliability engineering in the Military Sector (MIL-STDs, (MIL-HDBKs)
