CORPORATE QUALITY ENGINEER

Reporting to

Quality Manager

Scope

To ensure within the Tubes / Equipment divisions that Process Control Systems are established so that Products are consistently manufactured within defined process parameters.

Main Duties

• To support with the co-ordination & chairing of ISO management meetings.
• Actively participate with the introduction of the 5?s philosophy in the tube division.
• Review the Calibration system and eliminate Non Value Added activities.
• Investigate process boundaries / CPKs using SPC techniques and implement process control systems.
• Actively participate in Design Reviews providing data where applicable.
• Establish data capturing systems for scrap / rework and collaborate with the relevant personnel to initiate cost reduction plans.
• Support with the development / introduction of process flow-charts through out Equipment /Tubes division.
• Perform Quality Audits in accordance with the audit plan.
• Liaise closely with relevant engineers during Root Cause Analysis of product /Process problems and support with Corrective Actions.
• Support with the investigation and closure of Quality Improvement reports.
• Support / develop Quality Plans in accordance with Customer requirements.
• Support / organise customer presentations and prepare quality presentations when applicable.
• To undertake any other task, which may reasonably be requested.
• To comply with the Company Policy on Health & Safety.
