EXPEDITOR

Reporting to:

Purchasing Manager

Scope

Responsible for the expediting of all materials to ensure timely provision to support the manufacturing process. To include raw material purchased parts WIP or finished stock.

Main Duties

• Identify priority material requirements, maximising material availability to manufacturing while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Establish effective expediting systems and undertake supplier visits as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate data within company systems so that latest supplier delivery information is available to all interested parties.
• Progress all purchase orders, works orders or other requirements in an effective manner to ensure timely delivery.
• Record any Supplier delivery non-conformance.
• Elevate any non-conformance to the Materials Controller.
• To undertake any other task which may be reasonably requested.
• To perform his/her duties with respect to all Company procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

G.C.S.Es (5 A-C passes)-Minimum Criteria
Experience of MRP based manufacturing systems (Desirable)
Familiarity working with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes (Desirable)
