MATERIALS CONTROLLER

Reporting to:

Project Supervisor

Main Duties

• Control of works orders, kits and kitting lists via various reporting systems i.e. Swan and Crystal reports e.g. works order schedule report (start dates).

• Control of works order content i.e. qty, material adjustment.

• Provide detailed information regarding works order status and progress to the factory. Stores, production control and management.

• To liaise with the Purchasing Department in order to progress components and processes required to fulfill works order requirements.

• To assist in the improvement and development of manufacturing control systems.

• To set agreed and control priority for areas such as goods inwards inspection. In conjunction with Purchasing and Equipment Division Material Control.

• To be involved in the running of MRP.

• Be responsible for the production control sign off for change notes relating to the Tubes Division.

• Control of min/max ordering.

• Undertaking of any other related tasks that may be reasonably requested.

• To perform his/her duties with respect to all Company Procedures.

• To comply with the Company Policy on Health and Safety.

Qualifications & Experience
1 year experience in Material Control or Progressing.
Experience of working in Avionic industry supplying military equipment.
